After 8 weeks with a bilateral artificial hip

This working patient had severe pain in his hips on both sides, so he could not decide which side was worse. We therefore decided to implant both hips during one anesthesia. This saves the patient time for rehabilitation. After 7 days he was discharged from the hospital, after 2 weeks he was able to walk around the house without crutches and after 8 weeks he could start working again as a craftsman. This good result is a combination of good surgery, good physiotherapy and motivated patient and cannot currently be guaranteed by every doctor for every patient.
